UPDATES JULY 10:
Okay, HUGE THINGS have been happening the last little while.
First: I won a Joe
Shuster Award! Yes, apparently I am Canada's Favourite Cartoonist,
English Language division. Needless to say I was very honoured
and excited to receive the award ... which I haven't gotten yet,
but hopefully will at the San
Diego Comicon! Yes, I'm going to that! I have a press
release and everything, courtesy of SLG Publishing. So I'll
be there signing copies of Zombies
Calling and perhaps sketching and stuff. I was even thinking
of offering commissions if people wanted to pay me to draw a
specific character, so if you're attending Comicon, come by the
SLG booth and say hi! I'll also have a preview of my new SLG
graphic novel, The War at Ellsmere to hand out, so be sure to
get one of those.
I don't have the time to do a proper update to the webpage at
the moment ... check the sketchblog
for some new artwork, as well as my personal
blog, as I'm posting online the newspaper strip I did for
the Halifax Chronicle Herald earlier this year.
