Alistaire & May

Physical:
Al: Age: 28 yrs. Ht: 5'10. Wt: 155lbs Black hair, hazel eyes.
May: Age: Not telling. Ht: 5'4. Wt: Not telling. Green hair, purple eyes (contacts; real eye colour unknown).

Affilation: Alistaire runs the local hangout/dance club Edge 102, which, besides being a popular spot, also fronts his sort-of protest movement against Arkady and Umber. May is the club's DJ.

Likes:
Al: democracy, being right, Max, May, running Edge 102. Proving his point.
May: green things, cute cartoon merchandise (PPG, Hello Kitty, etc), androids, Max, Grant.

Dislikes:
Al: Umber (with a passion), rodents.
May: drunk clubbers who hit on her, other DJs, Alistaire hitting on her.

History: Alistaire grew up in the City, with all the benefits of the middle class (education, health care, etc.). At one point in his life, he knew Grant, and later (in exchange for a free safehouse for Owly) recruited him as an informant against Arkady and Umber. The club, which he started, although technically illegal, is allowed, mostly because it distracts the populace from more pressing matters.
May's past isn't terribly important. She's non-descript, likes her life, and loves music.

Personality: flippant and known for being a smartass, Alistaire is nevertheless quite wise in how money and power can corrupt someone. He knows how to best protest Trilogy's rule of the City, and play it in the eyes of the public. He'd make a good politician.
May's a good bit more sincere, and has a great sympathy for artificial beings (she likes them). However, they're more a cause for her, and she doesn't necessairly see them as real people.

Faith's Notes: May & Al are good, rebellous, slightly ignorent people who don't necessarily see how their actions (in this case, fighting for the rights of artificial beings) can affect those around them. Alistaire especially sees everything in black and white (Trilogy/Umber/Arkady = bad), which causes conflict between him and Grant.
May is a wee bit more understanding, probably owing to her motherly nature.
